In a competition of 70 entrants from the security industry's major players, Extreme CCTV's new License Plate Capture device called REG™ captured top prize, ahead of entrants from Interlogix (a G.E. company), Pelco, Sanyo, March Networks, Silent Witness and several other companies.

Advanced Integration
One product solution that provides accurate license plate capture. Camera, lense, housing,optics,filters,illumination,power supply and control features are built into one stand alone unit. Speed is not an issue. The REG system uses filtering to block visible light and emitted infrared to bounce of license plates for reading from its specially designes camera. Speeds of 60MPH can be captured.
Standard CCTV technolgy fails to deliver plate images on a reliable basis. The bulb has a 10 year life.
